The Schneefernerhaus Environmental Research Station not only offers its consortium partners excellent research conditions, but it is also available to other interested parties from research, science, industry, and business. Researchers may use our large lab, which is more than 100 square meters. There are also outdoor platforms for experiments and observations. These areas may be rented on a short or long term basis.
With its unique location on the southern slope of the Zugspitze, it offers an extraordinary setting for scientific workshops, conferences, and presentations. Our location is in the midst of a magnificent mountain landscape, but still provides the special atmosphere of a modern research station.
For visitors staying overnight, UFS offers accommodation for up to 40 people. It is also possible to book guided tours for groups and private individuals.
