In 2020 the German Weather Service measured + 2.1 K on the Zugspitze compared to the long-year average. Not only at Zugspitze, but all over Germany higher temperatures than usually were observed.
The precipitation was 96 % less than during the reference time.
Worldwide the highest deviation were measured in the Arctic, where a plus of 5 K was averaged for the year 2020.
